Well, I guess you read my introduction…

Well, I guess you read my introduction…I know, I didn’t say that much, so I’ll put that right, just a little, here.

There, I tend to talk about music marketing for Independant Artists, (like me), though a few other bits and pieces, mostly personal comment on this or that,  have crept in. It’s not that messy, but I kinda feel there’s a risk it might get that way, so I figured I needed somewhere else, to put the more eclectic content I occassionally feel like posting. That, folks, is what I’m doing here, at WordPress. So, the idea is, (once I get myself sorted out), there will be a naturally occuring separation of content into more appropriate channels, and I’ll find myself selecting, ever more carefully, as time goes along, what is appropriate for this WordPress blog, and what is more appropriate for my other blog, over at Blogger.  Having said that, I expect there will always be a crossover element, because that’s what life is like, it isn’t all sharp divisions, it’s inclined to be a little fuzzy, here and there, and, especially so, if you are a musician and writer, always hovering somewhere between fantasy and reality. 

In my next post, I’m going to ramble for a little while about me. I mean that I’m going to tell you about myself, and about my my life. Now, please don’t get the wrong impression. I’m not all that important, I’m well aware of that, but, generally, I like to feel I know something about the person who’s words I’m reading, and I’m assuming you are a bit like me, so, I guess we’re both going to have to go through that kind of introductory process.

The truth is, though, I’d rather know about you….so, please leave a comment, if you feel moved, to do so, ok?  I’m not sensitive to critiscism, I’m basically a nice guy, (er, I hope!), so I’m not gonna bite, and I’d love to hear from you! 

I’m going to be unable to post, for a few days, so, for now, I’m going to leave you with a little trial promo video I’ve recently posted, elsewhere on the net. I’ll be advertising my album extensively on the web, shortly, and I wanted to see what I might be able to do with simple video concepts. The tune is called ‘Charlie’s Sister’, used here purely as an intstrumental piece, though the vocal version will be available on the internet soon.
